Talk/Demo about “optimized integration of documentation with Eclipse/RCP applications”

Alexej Spas from *instinctools will be giving a talk on the topic of optimized integration of documentation with Eclipse/RCP applications at the Eclipse DemoCamp in Stuttgart on 26th November, 2009. This talk will be based on the combination of our experiences with Eclipse-based development and documentation development. We will share our knowledge about streamlining the Eclipse/RCP documentation co-ordination process in a more systematic way and thus optimizing the whole documentation process.

The problem of lack of coordination mechanisms between the documentation and development teams are well known. As a result of lack of systematic co-ordination, a lot of time is wasted, resources are utilized improperly, costs are increased, go-to-market time is delayed and the quality of the documentation suffers. So we chose to present the ideas which we have reached as a direct result from the practical experience of co-ordination processes and their implementation in DITAworks.
