*instinctools Sets a Course on Information Management in 2008

*instinctools GmbH can look back to a successful year 2007.

This was an important year for our company both from strategic as from operative point of view. In times of rapidly developing technologies and complex requirements *instinctools professionally served their customers. Projects for customers like Burda Digital Systems and Daimler AG have been delivered successfully, new customers and new cooperation partners could be convinced.

While the focus of customer projects lay on integration and consolidation of heterogeneous IT applications and data sources as well as implementation of cross media strategies we were able to modernize our technology portfolio. GateOne – our Java-based Enterprise Application Framework – has been re-factored to enable our customers to take new challenges in the field of information management. Technology know-how in standardization, administration and integration of information has been fostered, valuable experiences could be gained by participating in international events as DITA Europe Conference 2007 and transferred to solutions in following areas:

- Single Sourcing, granularity of contents, topic based editing of documents
- Efficiency of editorial work through XML-authoring and support of international standards i.e. DITA, DocBook, HL7.

In 2008 *instinctools will launch the new generation of DITA-based content tools. This will give our customers best-of-breed tools at their hands to master the increasing demand on single sourcing solutions in the areas of technical documentation, support portals, online help and administration of any kind of structured documents.

Thus, we will set a course on information management also in 2008 und continue to serve our customers with innovation of its finest.
